This will probably be the last dahlia of the season. My friend, Sandy, gave me 3 “Dinner Plate” dahlia bulbs for my birthday this year and I planted them in the spring. The first blooms were more like saucers than plates, but they grew larger as the summer progressed. I can’t wait to see how big they will get next year.
